Soul Dayan
Soul joined True as an associate in 2024 following a summer of supporting the marketing function at True Portfolio company Holey Grail Donuts through the True Ventures Fellowship. The fellowship gave Soul a deep introduction to the startup and venture capital ecosystem, sparking his curiosity for a career in VC.
Previously, he was a fellow for the Venture Capital Investment Competition, the world’s largest VC competition among MBA students run by the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. During his tenure, he helped lead pitch competitions across the U.S., acting as an event manager and liaison between investors and students pitching their ideas. Soul was a social media intern for a boutique marketing agency in his hometown, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, prior to finding his way to VC.
He graduated from UNC at Chapel Hill where he was a Morehead-Cain Scholar. His favorite food is sushi, often consuming the entire side of ginger alongside his otoro. You can find him on soccer fields and dancing salsa for fun.
