Now Accepting Applications for the 2025 True Ventures Fellowship

“The people you’re with and surround yourself with will take you far in life,” wrote 2024 True Fellow Asrith Sreeram at the end of his fellowship this summer. That’s exactly why we started the True Ventures Fellowship over 15 years ago – to gather an impressive cohort of rising college juniors and seniors and embed them at True Portfolio companies for a summer of startup work and immersion in the VC ecosystem. 

Now through October 15th, 2024, we’re accepting applications for the summer of 2025. Applicants of all backgrounds and identities who are passionate about technology and entrepreneurship are encouraged to apply. Learn more about the program in our FAQs. 

To date, the program has helped more than 240 students get a foot in the door in technology and venture capital. Of those fellow alum, many have been offered full-time positions within True Portfolio companies, and even at True Ventures, post-graduation. 

“The True Ventures Fellowship is the opportunity of a lifetime,” commented 2024 True Fellow Emily Jenkins. “It is not only a chance to learn from an inspiring and intelligent team, but it will make you a more curious, thoughtful, and reflective person alongside a group of talented fellows.” 

In addition to completing their work at True companies, the 2024 summer fellowship culminated with a research project that allowed the fellows to chase a curiosity down the rabbit hole of a subject that truly interested them. Each fellow presented their findings in a video presentation they shared with Team True. This year’s videos focused on cryptobiotic soil, what it is about cast iron skillets that so many chefs and home cooks love, ASMR and music therapy, and even the future uses of wearable biosensors in endurance sports. It was an incredible exercise in following interest and curiosity into unexpected places – a keystone of the entrepreneurial experience. 

Next year’s True Ventures Fellowship will take place from early June to mid-August 2025. It will be held in a hybrid-work format, meaning part of the fellowship is in person with our team and part is held virtually. All fellows will be welcomed to a week-long orientation in San Francisco at the onset of the summer 2025 fellowship.
