Congratulating MobileSpan

True Portfolio company MobileSpan announced yesterday that it is joining forces with Dropbox to tackle enterprise productivity in the mobile era. We invested in Mobilespan in January 2013 with the goal of enabling employees to securely access company content anytime, anywhere and on any device—all while remaining fully integrated with existing company policies and standards.

Now, MobileSpan will bring their deep enterprise and security expertise to Dropbox, helping to accelerate their move into the enterprise. The MobileSpan team is uniquely suited to support the vision they share with Dropbox to free business content from its desktop-focused roots: Founders Amit Joshi and Sanjeev Radhakrishnan were Google Founders’ Awards recipients who previously built Google Chrome’s security sandbox, and Co-Founder Nils Bunger is a proven entrepreneur. Together, they have built scalable solutions that have served millions of users and thousands of enterprises.
