Welcoming Projector

True portfolio company Projector announced their funding and public beta today, and we’re very pleased to once again be working with three-time True Founder Tim Young and his Co-Founder Aaron Gotwalt.

Tim, Aaron and their team are building Projector, a machine-learning platform that helps developers transform their applications into timely, personalized actions and experiences, changing the way we interact with our devices in an increasingly notification-driven digital world. Notifications are the atomic unit of interactions on mobile and are becoming vital in a world of fractionalized attention. Tim’s previous True-backed companies, about.me (Co-Founded with Ryan Freitas and our own Tony Conrad) and Socialcast, were among our first investments and first exits as a firm. And Aaron previously founded CoTweet, a tool that enabled multiple people to communicate on Twitter through corporate accounts. We love working with repeat Founders, and we’re very happy to be partnering with Tim once again and excited to welcome Aaron into the fold.
