Congratulating this year’s “best of”

Yesterday, Apple announced its App Store Best of 2012, and we are thrilled to congratulate True companies Madefire, Pose and Showyou, all of whom made the list.

Madefire is indeed a gem, as it continues to revolutionize the comic industry with their entirely new concept of “Motion Books”—original stories, each providing a unique and immersive experience, written and drawn specifically for the iPad and iPhone.

Pose is a style maven’s dream, with a stunning iPad app that lets users see and shop curated looks from hundreds of fashion icons and style bloggers.

And Showyou, a huge part of the ongoing disruption of TV, continues to dazzle us with its beautiful user interface and “smart feed” that pulls together videos from our friends and those we follow on Facebook and Twitter. (This is second year in a row for Showyou on the Apple “Best of” list.)

While there has been a lot of recent talk about the rise of the enterprise, it’s important to remember how strongly mobile apps can capture our imagination and help us connect in a deeper, more creative way. Madefire, Pose and Showyou are doing just that, and we’re proud to be a part of their stories.
