2019: Our Year in Review [infographic]

This is the fifteenth holiday the True team has had the pleasure of celebrating together. We’ve spent nearly a decade and a half pursuing this thing called “venture” where we do our best to see the promise and potential in founders who imagine worlds where something or someone can work better, thanks to a generous heap of human willpower. 

Since Phil Black and I started the firm, we’ve partnered with more than 300 of these brave inventors and invited more than 30 team members to join us here at the firm so we can better serve the more than 14,400 employees in the True portfolio. The scale of this once-small firm continues to humble us daily especially in moments like these at year’s end when we look back at all we did together. 

Here, and via video, we celebrate and express gratitude to the entire True community and all of our supporters for trusting us as partners. In 2020, we look forward to continuing to support this exceptional group of founders with the professional and personal support they need to be their best selves in life and business.
