Black Outside

Since True was formed nearly two decades ago, we’ve seen time and again how entrepreneurship can change the world. Our focus has always been on empowering entrepreneurs who have a vision to make a deep and lasting impact, and in 2020 we made the decision to extend our support to founders working in social impact.

We launched TrueVentures.org because social entrepreneurs and the ventures they lead have the greatest potential to drive change in powerful ways. So far, we’ve supported 19 organizations that have what it takes to create global social returns and solutions to the kinds of big problems traditional VC has overlooked.

If you’re looking to make a donation this Giving Tuesday or before yearend on behalf of your company, please consider the organizations below. We’ve grouped them by their areas of impact and included links to where you can donate or support them otherwise. Thank you for considering these organizations and the founders behind them.
