Socializing Your Servers: Nodeable Raises Series A

Over the last couple of years, we have seen an accelerated movement around the socialization of the enterprise. Solutions such as Socialcast, in which we were early investors and which was recently sold to VMWare, have dramatically affected how people work and communicate daily within organizations.

Most of the efforts to date, though, have centered around heightened levels of collaboration and visibility among employees. We are strong believers that a socialization will also exist at a level below – at the infrastructure layer changing how the developers, sys admins, and application owners interact with each other and the machines they work with day to day.  Add to this the ability to correlate data across the cloud and act immediately toward a solution, and you have a differentiated cloud management platform that drives toward powerful simplicity rather than irritating complexity.

We think Nodeable is the company to address this challenge, and are extremely excited to have led their Series A with Crosslink Capital participating as well.  More than the market opportunity, we are thrilled to be working with Founder and CEO, Dave Rosenberg, who we have known and collaborated with for a number of years.

He has built a stellar team along with cofounders Neil Levine and Mark Griffin and we couldn’t be more excited about the days ahead.
