Celebrating Sandbar’s Stream Launch
By Toni Schneider, November 5, 2025

Some physical products can feel like they become part of us, like a watch that you wear every day or a favorite pair of earrings. I believe that Sandbar’s Stream Ring has the potential to be one of them. I’ve had the pleasure of using a prototype version, and after just a few hours, it already felt deeply personal. Raising the ring to talk felt natural and intimate. I found myself looking forward to using it in the moment, capturing thoughts and notes effortlessly without ever reaching for my phone. I find Stream to be especially useful while driving, when ideas flow into my mind and I want to engage with them with ease.
Stream Ring is one half of the Stream experience. The other half is software: part notes app and part idea builder. Together they create a seamless conversational experience, making it easy to capture thoughts and to build, especially on the go.

Today, Sandbar is officially unveiling Stream to the world, and it’s exciting to see the early buzz and response.
At True, we’ve been fortunate to be part of several iconic hardware journeys, from Fitbit to Peloton to Ring, that have turned bold hardware ideas into household names. When we first met Sandbar’s talented co-founders, Mina Fahmi and Kirak Hong, we loved their vision for an AI-powered device that’s a true extension of yourself, one you interact with through a beautiful, wearable ring. We became believers and were excited to lead their seed round.
Congratulations to the Sandbar team on a great launch. We can’t wait to see Stream fulfill its promise of becoming a powerful extension of people in their daily lives.
